African Paradise: 13-Day Vacation in South Africa & Mozambique
Day 1: En Route
Depart from home; en route to Cape Town, South Africa.
Day 2: Cape Town
Today we arrive in Cape Town, South Africa where we are met by our Lark Tours
guide. We transfer to the Cape Grace Hotel located in the exclusive
Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

Day 3: Cape Town
Today embark on a private tour of the magnificent Cape Peninsula, also
known as the Cape of Good Hope. This all-day tour includes stops at
Duiker Island to watch the seal colony, at Boulders Beach where the
endemic African Penguins live, and at Cape Point.

Day 4: Cape Town
We begin the day by visiting the top of Table Mountain, where the views
overlooking the city and the Atlantic Ocean are fabulous. We then
briefly tour the City Bowl on our way to the Cape Winelands, where we
visit vineyards and taste famous South African wines.

Day 5: Cape Town/MalaMala Game Reserve
We transfer to MalaMala Game Reserve, located in Sabi Sands
Private Game Reserve adjacent to Kruger National Park. That afternoon
we embark on a thrilling safari.

Day 6 & 7: MalaMala Game Reserve
We spend the next two days on safari in search of all the
magnificent wildlife Africa has to offer, from herds of elephants, to
lions on the hunt, to elusive leopards, and everything in between. When
we're not on safari, we spend time relaxing, enjoying MalaMala's fine
cuisine, and soaking in the African surroundings.

Day 8: MalaMala Game Reserve/Benguerra Island
After one last safari we transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and board our flight to Benguerra Lodge via Vilanculos, Mozambique. Benguerra Lodge is located on Benguerra Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago off the coast of Mozambique, and is considered to be one
of Africa's premier tropical island getaways.

Day 9: Benguerra Island
We set off on a new kind of safari - of the underwater variety! We spend the day snorkeling in Bazaruto's pristine coral reefs.

Day 10 & 11: Benguerra Island
For the next two days we can choose from a number of activities including a tour of the island, deep see fishing, or dhow cruising.

Day 12: Benguerra Lodge/Johannesburg
Transfer to Johannesburg; we board our international flight home.

Day 13: En Route
We arrive back home and share all our fabulous stories and photos with friends and family
Trip Departs: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Departures on other days of the week are possible as well, with a necessary layover in Johannesburg, which is not currently factored into the price

FLIGHTS
International flights to Cape Town and from Johannesburg are not included. Necessary flights within Africa (Cape Town to MalaMala to Vilanculos; Vilanculos to Johannesburg) are not included. The only flight that is included is the return flight from Vilanculos to Benguerra Lodge.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
All meals, entrance fees and participations costs for all activities, sightseeing, etc, accommodations, ground transportation, conservation and park fees, taxes, and expert guides, all as outlined in the itinerary. Prices also include comprehensive travel insurance, return flight from Vilanculos to Benguerra Lodge, and complimentary flight arrangements upon request.

Flights (except return flight from Vilanculos to Benguerra Lodge), alcohol, gratuities, passport/visa fees, Vilanculos Airport departure tax, and personal purchases.
