One of the features that distinguishes Lark Tours is our choice of accommodations. Our goal is to provide you with a genuine experience of southern Africa. Comfort and luxury as well as distinctiveness and character are all a part of the equation for choosing where we stay.
In an effort to create the best getaways and adventures possible, we have taken great care in hand-selecting all our accommodations. While in big cities like Cape Town and Windhoek, we stay in upscale and luxurious hotels, beautiful chalets, and cozy villas. All these have private bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, plenty of living space where you can relax, and modern amenities such as internet, fax, and TV. These lodgings all have staff on hand, chefs to prepare meals, monitored security systems, and much more. So if you find yourself with Lark Tours in Cape Town, you will likely be in an award-winning hotel such as The Cape Grace on the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, in a grand villa situated on one of Cape Town's beaches, or in an inviting wine estate located in historic Constantia.
In other, more rural areas of southern Africa, we have chosen quaint bed and breakfast style lodgings, luxurious farmhouses, and any other unique, inviting accommodations. While in game parks, luxury safari lodges with thatched-roof rondavels and private chalets provide the perfect base from which to explore the wildlife by foot and by off-road vehicles. Even on some of our more adventurous outings, where we are exploring remote areas in Namibia or Zambia and there are no accommodations nearby, we sleep in spacious, canvas-dome tents complete with mosquito netting and soft mattresses for the best comfort available in the bush.
