Day One: Johannesburg/MalaMala Game Reserve

Transfer from Johannesburg to MalaMala Game Reserve. Upon arrival, we enjoy lunch on the deck overlooking the Sands River before venturing off on an afternoon safari.

Day Two and Three: MalaMala Game Reserve

Over the next two days we spend our time relaxing, soaking in the incredible surroundings, taking advantage of MalaMala’s amenities, and of course, embarking on world-class safaris. Each day we embark on an early morning and late afternoon safari game drives. On the evening safaris the guides bring along coolers stocked with wines and other alcoholic beverages of choice to be enjoyed during a famous South African sundowner. Watching the sun set over the wild African bush is a truly memorable experience. Dinner is served in the reed-enclosed boma under an ancient Jackalberry tree. While seated around the blazing log fire under the starry African sky, enjoying the superb food and excellent wines, we are sure to feel Africa tugging at our hearts.

Day Four: MalaMala Game Reserve/Johannesburg

Our last day in MalaMala begins with a sunrise game drive followed by a hearty breakfast. After saying goodbye to MalaMala’s marvelous staff, we transfer via plane back to Johannesburg.
