For this reason, we include comprehensive travel insurance as a part of the price of each of our scheduled vacations so that when accidents do happen, you are prepared.

Our travel insurance is backed by National Union Fire Insurance Company, which is a subsidiary of AIG Commercial Insurance Group. NUFIC is a reliable "A" rated insurance firm with over 20 years of experience specifically in travel insurance underwriting and claims administration. We use NUFIC as our provider because it not only serves travel companies of all sizes, but it also provides travel insurance to many university study-abroad programs, university alumni travel programs, and corporate travel programs. We think this is important because it means that NUFIC is closely scrutinized to ensure that its plans meet or exceed all standards.

Here are some of the provisions included with your travel insurance:

• Up to $25,000 trip cancellation
• Trip interruption up to 125% of the trip cost
• $1000 in travel delay
• $100,000 medical expense
• $1,000,000 emergency medical evacuation
• 24-hour medical & travel assistance from Travel Assist's Worldwide Assistance Center
• $1,000 for loss or damage to baggage, personal effects, and travel documents
• Optional coverage: Cancel for any reason up to 75% of the trip cost (note that this coverage is an additional fee with special requirements and is not included with our standard travel insurance policy)
